Lucan Minor Hockey

Established in 1949, we are a non-profit organization that provides a fun and safe environment for players to develop their hockey skills. Currently, we have approximately 300 registrants, including 80 female and 220 male players. Affiliated with the OMHA , we have competitive teams that compete in the Shamrock League from Novice to Midget. As well, we offer house league teams from Mite to Midget that participate in the Lambton-Middlesex League. Female players have the opportunity to improve their skills and compete against others in the OWHA.

This September Lucan Minor Hockey has contracted some extra ice. We are excited to be offering it as Development Ice. This new program promises to be beneficial to players of all ages and a great way for ALL players to get back into the routine of hockey. The program will focus on power skating, stick and puck handling etc. David Landers and Scott Amos will be facilitating this program. Ice will be offered at an age group basis, and all Lucan Minor Hockey players are encouraged to participate during their age-appropriate slot. There is a $10/fee per session and players may attend as many sessions as offered. Any questions regarding this program may be directed to David or Scott or me

coaches@lucanminorhockey.net As in the past, there will be a tryout fee of $50 for those players wishing to tryout for our representative teams. This fee is payable on the first night of tryouts. Players are not allowed on the ice if the fee has not been paid. This year there will be no refund if a player does not make a representative team. Players are guaranteed two (2) tryout skates.
