Based on the success and positive reviews of last seasons Player Development Clinics, Lucan Minor Hockey is pleased to announce that James Chalmers will once again be running player development clinics this season! 

Update October 10/17:  Both sessions have reached maximum registration.

Sessions are open to players currently registered with Lucan Minor Hockey.

James is a parent and a coach within Lucan Minor Hockey, and brings extensive hockey experience.  

 

James has played hockey at a high level through-out his career some of his accomplishments include:

·         Playing in the Metro Junior Hockey League where he was awarded a Division 1 - NCAA scholarship to the University of Nebraska at Omaha

·         Winning the Royal Bank Cup in 1997 (Tier II Jr "A" National Championship) playing for the Summerside Capitals in PEI

·         After competing  4 years at U of N at Omaha he signed with the Philadelphia Flyers and played with  their AHL team the Philadelphia Phantoms

 

Upon completion of  his playing career he has coached at all levels and run development camps throughout North America.  James has a passion for player development and is looking forward to working with LMH players to teach the fundamentals. 



LMH is offering 6 sessions at a cost of $80.00.  Clinics will be limited to 25 players per session.


 

Registration is now open on the Lucan Minor Hockey Website under the DEVELOPMENT tab.   Please register for the appropriate session as per information below:



Novice sessions will be held on Monday mornings (Oct 16 - Nov 20) from 7:00am-8:00am.*

Atom & PeeWee
 sessions will be held on Wednesday mornings ( Oct 18 - Nov 22) from 7:00am - 8:00am.


*If there are spots available as of October 10th in the "Novice" session, it will then be opened up for our Initiation Program players to register as well, up to the maximum 25 total players for the session.   If this is the case, further communication will be sent to our IP program families advising of the openings.

    On April 8th, Lucan Minor Hockey alumni Navrin Mutter was drafted 83rd in the 5th round by the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs. Navrin was also selected for the Alliance Hockey Gold Cup Team this season. Congratulations and Good Luck!
