Lucan White hosts Strathroy Blue
Strathroy Blue came to town on February 25th.
Lucan White kept up their great play of late and had a solid game against Strathroy Blue. The team played a great defensive game limiting the shots and scoring chances. Matt P. open the scoring 5 minutes in scoring a howitzer from the slot. Owen W made it 2-0 with a breakaway goal, shooting the puck over the Strathroy goalie. Strathroy reply with a goal of their own but Lucan responded quickly with a 5 hole goal from Dylan F. Lucan took a 4-1 lead, on a great effort from Carlee V. Matt P and Carlee V. finished up the scoring for Lucan who took the game by a final score of 6-1. Ryder O. made the saves when called upon for Lucan White. Player of the game went to Aiden M. who had a great game. Lucan White is in Point Edward next Saturday.
