Tyke White Participate in Lambeth Tournament
On March 13th Tyke white travelled to take part in the Lambeth tournament.
Lucan started out agains the Lambeth New York Rangers. This was a hard fought battle and the kids had to play off sides for the first time all year. The were a quick study and really got the hang of it as the game went on. Carlee V. played remarkable in net facing a lot of shot. Ryder O. and Nate W. scored for Lucan. At the final buzzer the Ranger had a 5-2 victory.
Next up for Lucan was the Lambeth Chicago Blackhawks. Ethan P. took over net in this game and had another great goaltending performance. Lucan had another strong game with Matt P. scoring two goals, but the boys and girls ended up losing 4-2.
To end the day Lucan took on Lambeth Montreal Canadiens. Lucan finally started getting some bounces and had a great offensive game on the way to a 8-2 victory. Ryder O. was in net for Lucan. Scoring for Lucan was Carlee V., Ethan P and Owen W. with two goals. Singles went to Matt P. and Kaiden W.
The tournament was a great day and the kids had lots of fun. When not playing on the ice they were often found playing mini sticks in the hall. Great work kids.
