Seeing Blue in St.Mary's
After a hard fought game in Huron Park, we travelled once again to St. Mary's. This time we would be playing the Blue team. There was a lot of action in this game, especially around the Blue net.
Mite Green really showed how they are really learning to go after their shots and help each other out around the net. They were also refusing to give up, when they knew they could do it! Will and Lucas both earned hat tricks this game. Lucas had a little coast to coast action for one of the goals. Also assisting in the points was Nicole, Megan and Jack. Some of these goals could not have happened without the assistance of team mates like Spencer, Peighton and Drew - way to help out your team mated!! Our Super Sport of the game showed great energy and really focused on the game and his team mates - way to go Cohen. Nicole earned the game puck for her goal this game...way to go! Our team would also like to mention our gratitude to a coach from the St.Mary's team. One of our players forgot a shin guard and we did not have an extra. A coach/trainer from the St. Mary's team, went home and brought our player a guard! Truly an act of kindness and sportsmanship.
