Good times in Zurich
Our game in Zurich was certainly a change in pace from Saturday in Huron Park! It was a nice change for all our players. We had a short bench today, but it did not slow our team down.
What was most exciting during this game was seeing Drew not only score his first goal, but his first TWO goals. It was seeing Gracie, not only get her first goal, but her first HAT TRICK! It was seeing our players set up in front of the net. It was great to watch our team take advantage of a slower paced game to put into practice so many of the skills they learn each week and not just turn the game into a chance to "run away" with the puck. Great Sportsmanship everyone!
Other players that found the net were Will, Lucas, Megan, and Jack. For another great day on the ice, Gracie earned the Super Sport of the game and to his delight, Drew received the game puck. Great work everyone. Rest up and see you all at practice Thursday!
