Lucan White play a couple exhibition games
Last Sunday Lucan White played an exhibition game against Mitchell.
This was the first game where we played off-sides, face-off and on the fly lane changes. The kids did amazing, they picked up all the new wrinkles to the game quickly and took the play to Mitchell the entire time. Lucan was buzzing all over the ice and if not for the Mitchell goalie this could have been a lop-sided score. In the end Lucan had a dominating 4-0 game. Lauren D. had the shut-out for Lucan. Scoring for Lucan was Luke A.(2) and Dylan F.(2). Assists went to James V. and Gracie B.
Saturday March 9th Lucan hosted Thamesford and continued to play all the new rules and wow did they impress. Lucan was called only once for an off-side. They are definetly ready for the Lambeth Tournament. James V. was between the pipes for Lucan and played amazing. He made save after save keeping his team in it. Thamesford got out to a 2-0 lead, but Cadence H. got the team back in it scoring on a goal mouth scramble. Lucan continued their good play getting lots of chances but just not able to solve the thamesford goalie. Thamesford scored a late goal and the game ended with a 3-1 loss. Players of the game went to James V., Bobby Mcbean, who was stellar on defence and Cadence H.
