Home and Home With Ilderton and Strathroy at Home
Over the last three weeks we had three games two of which were a Home and Home series with Ilderton Jets Blue and Capped off with us taking on the Strathroy Rockets White at home
February 8th we were at home against Ilderton Jets Blue, with Colin W. playing goal for us were were ready for a challenge Goals came quick and often.
Getting the goals started was Nate V. who scored a lone ranger rush on the first shift of the Game he would go on to add 3 more goals on the day followed up with an assist for a 5 point day.
Also finding the back of the net during the game for multiple goals were Drew K. with 2 Lane H. with 3 and Cohen S. with 4 Goals and 3 Assists. 2 more goals were scored by one Spencer R. and Presley B. assists were also handed out to Cash M. Ethan H. and Christian F.

After there Game your Player of the Game was Awarded to Cash M. for his outstanding Defensive zone plays and all round Hustle.
February 15 we took to the road and Played the 2nd of our home and home stand in Ilderton. Back in net for us once again was your star goalie from the week Previous Colin. W after making some heart stoping saves the week before he was all smiles and ready to show off his goal tending abilities once again.
Getting the fame off on the right foot for us was one Cohen s. with a break out play that resulted in the puck finding the back of the twine. Cohen would go on to find the net 3 more times on the day. Finding the net next was Nate V. who managed to deek his way in on net before stoping and firing the puck glove side for our second of the game. Nate would go one to burry two more goals during the game.
Goals also came off the stick of Presley B. who pocketed 2 goals in one shift less then Two minutes apart. Other Goal Scorers of the day came from from Drew k. with some hard work in front of the Ilderton Goalie and Lane H. who lifted puck with a back hand over the goalies Pad.
Assists on the day would be Handed out to Kyle.V Josselyn V. and Cash M. all of whom were big parts of our game.
Before this game started the coaches challenged all the players to use the boards and pass the puck, and at he sound of the Horn all of the coaches on the bench were very pleased with the "Team" work that went into the game and all of your tyke green was rewarded with a box of smarties.
On February 21. we were back at home to challenge the Strathroy Rockets White.
Our protector of the Crimson Columns was Cash M. who was asked to dawn the pads shortly before puck drop and managed to keep the game close for the entire 45mins stopping play after play.
Our defence was challenged early and often but with some stellar plays made by all and one specifically made by Claire W. holding the puck out of the net while waiting for her team mates to clear the puck was outstanding. We showed great wheels both on the offence and on the Defence and with our sticks on the ice we had an abundance of opportunities to put the puck past the Rockets goalies but she was one tough nut to crack.
Neutral Zone plays made by Owen C. and face off draw wins by Claire W. were what helped make this game close and if it had not been for our back checkers Lane H. Cohen S. Kyle and Nate V. cash M was sure to have seen more rubber that he would have liked. Hard work along the Boards by Presley B, Colin W, Josselyn V. and Ethan H. allowed break out plays that saw Christian F. spring to life and drive the Rockets net.
Our lone goal of the day came off the patient stick of Lane H. who waited until the goalie was down and out before riffling a back had in the the open net.
At the End of the game we did not come out on top but we played a great game and all the players should be proud of the way they played.
