Once upon a foggy day....
On January 11th our Tyke White team set out in a very thick fog and headed to Komoka to play Mount Brydges Gold.  The puck dropped at 9:15 am and....it was the BLUE puck!

Now, some people would say, we are just being silly, but many of the Tyke White fans believe, we are cursed by the BLUE puck!!  It seems when that puck is on the ice, nothing goes as practiced!
Now, to continue with the game....
Jackson was in net, looking good!  The team was fired up and ready to play.  Lucas started us off with a quick goal only five minutes into the game.  He was assisted by Jack and Cohen.  Not soon after Mount Brydges squeeked a puck past Jackson and tied the game.  In less then five minutes later, Gracie has a beautiful shot on net to give us back the lead.  The score stayed this way for quite some time.  We had some awesome opportunitues, but the bouncy, rolling blue puck, was playing tricks on our players.  While the Tyke White fans were certainly showing some frustration, the players continued to play hard and never give up.  We had some great defence that was always there to help Jackson out.  Then, with almost 11 min left in the game, Mount Brydges put one in the net...tie game!!  Zane, with great determination and skill was not going to let that score stand long.  With 8 min left, he scored with the help from Jayden and Cohen.  Ok, back on top....
Clock is ticking down....a funny bounce of the blue puck lands the puck on a Mount Brydges players stick, and he takes it on a break away and with less than a minute in the game, scores!  The buzzer goes and it was a tie game.  Gracie not only scored today, but she was all over the puck and did awesome setting up to receive some great passes.  As a result, she received today's game puck.
Wow, what a game!! All that excitement certainly helped the fans stay warm!!
Anything can happen on a foggy day....and the blue puck!
