February 9, 2014 – Lucan AE vs. Plattsville
Give me a “T”…give me an “E”, “A”, “M”, “W”, “O”, “R”, “K”…what does that spell? It spells some of the best teamwork we have seen all season!
Well, it was clear today that Lucan AE has been patiently waiting to showcase their finest talents. Anyone who witnessed this historic event knew from the moment the team took to the ice that they were in for a VERY special treat. From warm-up to finish…there was not one minute where this team was not united as ONE!
Beautiful passes, aggressiveness and I can’t even begin to count the number of shots that Lucan AE fired at their opponents net! 1…2…3…4 goals...and that was only the first period!
The boys were strategic and patient as they looked for their opportunities to pass the puck or rush the offensive zone. Using their “buddy” system, every player was supported and waiting to take on the rebound.
Win or lose…this is what we have been waiting for all season….synergy and a team that showed tons of confidence and who was not only playing a game...but having FUN!
