Mite Green Shines Vs The Middlesex Stars
This morning your Mite Green took to the road to play what would be our first official game of the season vs the North Middlesex Stars.
Our mites were excited and ready to take to the ice to play their first game of the season. Learning a brand new cheer to get themselves and their fans pumped up, Mite Green could be heard loud and clear.
Stopping multiple shots in net and getting us on the board with the first goal of the game was Mason B. who made no mistake in alone on break away finding the back of the net.
Great Defensive play in our own end and some hard work in front of the net allowed Ethan L. to pocket his first goal of the season.
Offensive rushes came quick and often by multiple players, Leah M, Keeva V,Lucas G, and Macy F. Just to name a few, Stellar Defensive play by Chase D, Aaden C, Ava K, and Jordan P. all helped keep the game close.
Strong Play in the offensive zone allowed us to dig the puck free getting us some chances came from, Jackson H , Riley P, Carter S, and Dane V.
Our team all skated hard at both ends of the rink and most of all had a great time for their first game of the season.
After the game the Player of the Game was awarded to Mason. B for his stellar play in net and great skating.
