This past weekend we saw your mite green take to the Ice in both Exter vs the Sabres and at Home Vs the Lucan White
Your mite green was in tough waters against some older and bigger kids when they took to the Ice against the South Huron Sabres.
With the Puck solidified in our zone Mite green quickly learned the importance of defence Standing Tall in net was Ethan L. Leah M and Jordan P. who all made goal line saves keeping the game rolling. Great Plays at the centre ice dot by Carter S. Keeva V. Riley P. and Chase D. helped get our skaters up the ice allowing us to get in on some clean breaks.
Ava K. was challenged prior to the start of the game and boy she did not disappoint engaging in play and clearing the zone at any given chance she was a force, great work Ava.
Our best scoring chance came from Bryce R. some hard work allowing him to skate to the net untouched getting more then one scoring opportunity.
For all his Hard work Bryce R. was rewarded with the player of the Game. Keep up the Great work Bryce.
Game two of our weekend double header was on sunday at home vs Mite White.
Screaming as loud as they can to intimidate their cross town rivals Mite green took to the ice with fire in their eyes.
After an on slot of goals from the white team Mite green flipped the switch and score a multitude of unanswered goals. The Goals Came fast and often with set passing plays from Jackson H. Dane V. Aaiden C. and Lucas G.
Answer the call from her coaches Macy F. won a face off and skated in attempting to bury her first goal of the season only to be stopped on the goal line on her second attempt the opposing teams goalie was not so lucky Macy drove the puck hard to the back of the net.
Another skater that saw his first goal of the season was one Roman C. who never stopped moving his feet allowing him to beat the defence and pocket a goal of his own.
Our last goal scorer of the day managed to pocket a hat Trick was Mason B. with great work down low and even from behind the net!!!
For their hard work Both Macy and Roman were rewarded with a double player of the game Great work Guys
