Parent's Meeting Notes
Thank you for all the parents that attended the team meeting yesterday afternoon.  Good open communication to essential to success as a team.

For the parents that missed yesterday I have attached some notes of the meeting.

1.  Tournaments

We have entered two tournaments this year.

Nov 1, 2 - Glencoe Tournament - $600 entry fee

January 2, 3, and 4 Exeter Tournament - $700 entry fee

Total cost for Tournament is $1300 I have already written cheques for these tournaments.  Cost per each child is $77.00 total.  If you can get your money to Jim Campbell as soon as you can it would be appreciated.

2.  Cash calendars

The draws start on Nov 1 so please get your stubs into Jim Campbell.

3.  Ice time

We have a big squad this year with 17 players.  We are going to have 2 goalies who split each game, 6 defencemen, and 9 forwards.  I will do my best to roll the lines giving equal ice.  There may be a possibility if we get into tournaments  that we shorten the bench if a game is close but only if absolutely necessary.

4.  Arriving at rink

Games - I expect the kids to be at the rink 40 minutes prior to the game and dressed and ready to go 10 minutes before the game.

Practices - I expect the boys to be at the rink 30 minutes prior to the game and ready to go on the ice when the Zamboni is finished.  I plan my practices down to the minute to get maximum benefit from the time on the ice

5.  Practices

Practices are not optional.  I expect the boys to be at practice.  This is when we work on our skills and where they gain their confidence with the puck.  I try to build my practices one on top of the other so if they miss a practice they are behind.  If your child can't make a practice or a game please let me know a head of time.

I am looking forward to a great year with your boys watching them improve and grow in confidence.
