Green VS Parkhill & Mt.Brydges Red
Your Tyke Green soldiers took to the ice on sat vs parkhill and put up a solid effort.. We drove the play deep into parkhills end many times and put their goalie under pressure.. In the end it was the play of our goalie Lucie Smith-Rowley that kept us in this game so she was named our "Puck Hungry" player of the game for Sat!.. On sunday we traveled back to Mt.Brydges to face their red squad.. Our team made some very nice defensive plays to contain the mt.brydges skaters.. Mackenzie Smith took it on himself to lead our offence and went end to end multiple times.. He skated just as hard on the back check to help out on defense as well.. Mackenzie's efforts and positive attitude earned him the "Puck Hungry" player of the game award for sunday!.. Great job green!
