Green vs Belmont and Tyke White
Another action packed weekend for our green warriors is in the books!.. Saturday was a fantastic tilt against Belmont.. Despite having a short bench we held a 1-0 lead to the half way point of the game on a great goal by Chase Bilcke.. While Lucie Smith-Rowley was rock solid in net stopping multiple shots!.. Chase Bilcke's strong play earned him our puck hungry player of the game!..
Sunday was another great effort against Tyke white.. We came out strong an took the play to the opposition striking first on a nice goal by Jackson Hardy.. Solid team play saw us hold a 2-1 lead to the half way point and we were in it the rest of the game.. Chase Bilcke slammed in two more goals for us while Lucie Smith-Rowley kept the puck out of our net all game long.. Mason Barker earned our puck hungry player of the game award for his constant puck pressure which allowed our team to spend a lot of time in the offensive zone.. Way to go GREEN!..
