It was “game day” yesterday! Our Atom LM team did what they have done all year. They WON!
38-4-5, I knew we had a strong group of players at the beginning of the season, but I had no idea how much success we would have. Semi-finalists at SIlverstick, Champs at the DQ Challenge Cup, regular Season Champs, Lincoln Tourney Champs, and now, you are the Atom Group A Champs! Unbelievable! You have all developed tremendously as individual players, but more importantly you grew beyond all expectations in how you play together as a team! The way you supported each other on and off the ice was our edge over other teams all season. You reinforced for all of us what minor hockey should be: unselfish, positive, disciplined, skilled, clean and fun. This was a dream year - this kind of year doesn’t happen very often! From the fantastic parent support and spirit to the heart and character of the players, it has been an absolute pleasure throughout. I thank the team. We are…
