From the moment the puck first dropped until the end of our celebration, your Lucan Irish Pee Wee's represented our organization, families and community with professionalism and excellence!
We respected our lesser skilled opponents with puck sharing and team work rather than goal scoring, we accepted an error in the shootout competition with dignity, we played clean, aggressive, strategic hockey; and we embraced victory with class after we knew the injured opponent was ok.
Congratulations to each and every player! I know this experience will be one they will remember for their lifetime!
The Championship Cup will be engraved with the name of each player, coach and trainer and be returned to our community centre for storage in our trophy case FOREVER!! In time, each player will have a chance to bring their child to the arena and show them they were CHAMPIONS!!
