It’s hard to believe the end of our season is almost
upon us.
Time flies when you’re having fun, and the Boys & Girls on Lucan IP Blue really do make every ice time a lot of fun. Last Friday night, we had our last regular game versus our friends from Team White. They’ve been our arch rivals all season and we’ve had many close and entertaining games with them. This final showdown was no exception, as the passing, scoring chances and back-checking on both sides was something to behold! Great job by both teams! After the game the Players were awarded their medals of achievement in recognition of all their efforts this season. All the kids have worked very hard and improved so much since September, it’s been great to see!
Sunday morning all the IP Teams went head-to-head in our 1st annual skills competition. The players skating, puck handling, shooting, goaltending and team work skills were on full display! Good times had by all and congratulations to all the Players for a job well done.
A special thanks to all the Kids and Parents who came out and supported their coaches and fireman in the Fire & Ice game Saturday night, what a great night and a big success! All the coaches really appreciated the great support and cheers from the kids! What a great way to kick off the final week and our big push to have Lucan crowned Kraft Hockeyville 2018! A reminder to please support Lucan’s bid and vote as many times as possible this coming Friday and Saturday! In support of that, our IPs have one last ice time this coming Saturday to show the world why Lucan is Hockeyville! Come out the arena for fun & activities all day and the viewing party when the winner will be announced on Hockey Night in Canada!
