Respect in Sport Parent Program

The Respect in Sport Parent Program is a Mandatory Program that at least one parent in the household must complete before a player can be rostered to a Lucan Minor Hockey team.

The cost is $12.  You pay this amount directly to OMHA before you take the online course.  The course takes about 2 hours to complete.

Parents who have previously taken the Respect in Sport / Speak Out / Preventative Services courses to be a team official will still be required to take the Respect in Sport Parent Program.  These are not the same courses.

If you have completed the RIS Parent Program in the past for your child and now you have another child registered to play hockey, you must log back in to add the NEW player to your profile in order for the RIS Certificate to attach to the new player and allow your child to be rostered.  This is not something that the Executive have access to adjust.  You do not have to do the course again.    See link below for instructions on how to add a child to your existing RIS profile:

Please complete the program prior to tryouts and development ice to avoid delays with rostering your child(s) team.

Once completed, please email a copy of your Certificate to Barb Van Arenthals:  registration@lucanminorhockey.net.
