Together with the Ausable Valley Hockey Association (AVHA) Executive Board, we are excited to announce the official name of our new A Centre. Our A Centre will be known as the Ausable Valley Coyotes! We want to thank everyone from the North Middlesex, Lucan, and Ilderton associations who submitted name ideas. There were many excellent suggestions. An AVHA subcommittee carefully reviewed all submissions, narrowing them down to choose the name that best represents all three centres and their surrounding environments. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Our U13B boys donned pink for today's game in Lucan against the Ilderton Jets. Together, beside their moms, both teams showed their support and honored those impacted by this disease. Breast cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related death among women living in Canada. One in eight women is expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
