U9C Girls Gold 24/25, Accomplishments (Lucan Minor Hockey)

This weekend it was the girls turn on full-ice. Our U9C team traveled to Orangeville to compete in the 45th Annual Sweetheart Tournament (Jan 24-26, 2025). These girls were on fire racking up goals and wins against Sarnia Jr Lady Sting (10-0 W), Twin Center Hericanes (9-0 W) and a close one with Saugeen Shores Storm (1-0 W).

First overall after pool play, the Irish faced North Bay Jr Lakers in the semi-final. A 9-0 win sent Lucan to the finals in a rematch against Saugeen Shores. In another tight game, the girls hung on for another 1-0 victory and came home as Sweetheart Champions. Love to see it!!!
