U11LL White Win Gold 25/26
U11LL White were on a roll at the
69th Annual U11 Boys LL Hockey Tournament in Mitchell on Nov 14-16, 2025. Playing with confidence the boys were undefeated all weekend to bring home a championship. Pool play wins against Mitchell Meteors Yellow (5-3 W), Blyth-Brussels Crusaders (5-1 W) and Lambton Shores Predators (2-1 W). Their record set them up for a semi-final rematch against the home team Mitchell Meteors Yellow. In a very evenly matched game that needed overtime to decide a winner, Lucan found the back of the net first to send them to the finals. The Irish found themselves down 2-0 early to the also undefeated Mid-Huron Huskies. A strong last half offensively and defensively saw Lucan battle back to tie and score the winning goal in the 3rd period. What a Sunday to remember. Way to go Champs!
