Do You Know an Outstanding Volunteer?
The Lucan Minor Hockey Fund Raising Committee is excited to bring to you a new initiative for the month of December. In the spirit of giving, we invite you to "Give Thanks" and recognize those silent Hockey Hero's, the volunteers that allow "Hockey to Go On"!

This is a great opportunity for us to share our volunteers' "stories". Its a chance to let them know that they really do make a difference and how much what they "do" means to us, our kids and Lucan Minor Hockey!

In addition to providing some well deserved recognition, your Fundraising Committee will use these submissions to support the Lucan Minor Hockey submission for the "Kraft Hockey Goes On" contest at the end of January.

LMH "Outstanding Volunteer" Program:

1. December 3rd - December 31st - share a story about a LMH Volunteer that you feel makes a difference!

CTRL and CLICK to tell your volunteer(s) story: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YXDP2KP

  • You can submit more then one story, so if you know of more then one outstanding volunteer feel free to submit multiple entries.
  • We will be posting your submissions on the Lucan Minor Hockey Website and up at the arena.
  • Please take sometime to review the submissions and give thanks to those that support our Kids and Hockey Association.
  • A volunteer isn't always obvious, sometimes they are giving of their time and energy outside of formal commitments. If someone has impacted your child, yourself or Lucan Minor Hockey in a positive way, whether or not they are a "formal volunteer", we want to know their story!

2. January 1st - 10th - the Lucan Minor Hockey Fund Raising Committee & Executive will review the entries and select a short list of the most outstanding volunteers

3. January 11th - 20th - the Lucan Minor Hockey will have a chance to VOTE for their favourite story of the finalists selected.

4. January 21st - Using the voting that occurred from January 11th-20th we will nominate the top volunteer(s) in the Kraft Hockey Goes On Contest completed

We will be posting your submissions on the Lucan Minor Hockey Website and up at the arena. Please take some time to review the submissions and give thanks to those that support our Kids and Hockey Association.

Thank you so much for your help in this exciting initiative, we can't wait to see the great submissions and to share them with you!
