Irish Teams perform well at Weekend Tournaments
Submitted By LMH on Sunday, October 21, 2018
This past weekend saw lots of excitement and lots of success from The Lucan Irish as 5 of our teams competed at local tournaments over the past 3 days.

At our own Ken Bailey Memorial Tournament, the Peewee Rep team  defeated South Huron 2-0 in an exciting Final game to capture the Peewee Division Championship.   Our Atom Rep team also performed well at the Tournament, finishing with a record of 4-1 and losing only to Ilderton in the final game and taking home the Finalists medals.

Our Novice Rep team also had a successful weekend, winning the “B” Championship at the Grant Lee Memorial Tournament in Hensall, while our Bantam Girls B team were the 4th Lucan Irish team to play a Tournament Final this weekend and lost a tough Championship Game 3-1 vs. Ayr at the Mitchell Girls Hockey Tournament.

Congratulations to all teams and wishing everyone continued success and enjoyment as the season kicks into full swing.

Go Irish Go.
