This past weekend, 8 of our Lucan Irish girls teams traveled
up Highway 4 to compete in South Huron’s 7th Annual Pink on the Rink
Tournament.
Our Girls played a total of 31 games over the weekend, building
lots of great memories, playing some great hockey, and achieving much success over the
weekend.
Our Novice Girls “C” team continued their excellent play this weekend, winning the Novice “C” division Gold Medal, while our Midget Girls “B” team…..playing in the “BB” division……..played some excellent hockey in 4 tight games, and won the Midget “BB” division Gold Medal.
Our Atom Girls “C” also had a great tournament, losing a hard fought final game and taking home the Silver Medal. Three of our teams made it to the semi-finals in their groupings, including the Novice Girls “HL” , PeeWee Girls “C”, and Bantam Girls “B”. Our Novice Girls "HL" and Bantam Girls "C" also competed hard and had lots of fun over the weekend.
