Congratulations to the Lucan Irish U18B Girls who won the
Gold Medal at the OWHA Provincial Championships this past weekend.
These girls completed their run through the Provincial
Championship weekend with a very impressive 6-0 record, with 21 goals scored
and 0 goals against………while competing against the best teams in the Province. They beat a very strong Hearst Ice Cats team by a
score of 1-0 with a late powerplay goal in the semi-finals, and edged the 2nd
ranked team in Ontario, the Saugeen Shores Storm, 1-0 in an
intense Championship Final game.
This win completes a truly remarkable season for this special
