Rules
Tie Breaker during bracket play : the team scoring first during the regulation will be awarded the win for that game. Bracket play games ending in a 0-0 tie will be decided by a shootout (3 vs 3 aggregate first, followed by 1 vs 1 if required)
Tie Breaker during A and B Finals will be decided by
1) Five minute 4 vs 4 sudden death overtime
2) 3 vs 3 shootout aggregate score
3) 1 vs 1 shootout until decided
All games are three 15 minute non-stop periods with a buzzer every three minutes to switch lines. Goalies will not change ends after each period. We will not be playing with penalties or off side. This is an OMHA sanctioned tournament; all OMHA rules apply and OMHA approved rosters must be handed in prior to the tournament. All games will be played at Parkhill Arena, 225 McLeod Street, Parkhill, Ont
All coaching staff must sign in prior to the game
All teams must be at the arena 1 hour before game time and teams ready to play 15 minutes before game time.
The coaching staff are responsible for the conduct of their team both on and off the ice.
All teams have a certified coach and trainer on the bench for all games
In case of conflicting sweaters the designated home team will be required to change sweaters.
Coaches, players or parents uttering profane language toward the referees, tournament director or opposing team will be ejected from the tournament. (ANY VIOLATION OF THE RULES OR MISCONDUCT WILL RESULT IN THE WHOLE TEAM BEING EJECTED FROM THE TOURNAMNET)
At the end of every game the teams will line up and one MVP will be handed out to each team decided by a group of tournament panel.
