Our Novice Girls played in the Stratford Aces Tournament this past weekend.
Our Girls played two games Friday against Lambeth and Walkerton. The pace of the games and skills on display were terrific! Our fearless Goalies, Lily and Noelle, were both in Veznia form, making amazing saves all game. Our Forwards were relentless on the attack and our Defense were strong and stingy!
We were back at Saturday playing games versus St. Marys and Wilmont. The Girls continued their outstanding play, this time with Amelia and Maddison in net. Both were outstanding, kicking out save after save and ready for more! Our Forwards continued to terrorize the opposing netminders, and our Defense did a super job protecting our end!
Lots of fun was had by all, and great memories from our first tournament of the year.
Congratulations to all the other participating Lucan Girls Teams on their successes as well.
