My name is James Chalmers, and I’ll be coaching the U15 Girls Tier 1 team for the upcoming 2025–2026 season. I’ve been coaching in Lucan for over a decade across various age groups, and I bring playing experience from Junior, NCAA Division 1, and the AHL levels. If we attract the same level of talent as last year, our goal is to compete at the A level. Players on this team will grow their understanding of the game, develop their hockey IQ, and thrive in a culture built on respect, hard work, and fun.

I’ve been coaching in Lucan for over a decade across various age groups, and I bring playing experience from Junior, NCAA Division 1, and the AHL levels. I’ve also coached Varsity High School hockey in the U.S. and have led several summer hockey camps.

This past season, we had a successful run—reaching both Provincials and the Best of the Best League Championship Game. There’s a strong competitive spirit in this age group, and we aim to continue building on that momentum. My coaching philosophy is simple: create a space where players love coming to the rink, take pride in working hard, support each other, and grow both as hockey players and individuals.
