Huge weekend at home!
We all knew the boys had more game in them and this weekend proved it to be true!
Back to back solid efforts this weekend at home have left the boys feeling good about themselves and the team.Confidence is peaking right now and these guys know what it takes to compete with Petrolia.Not many teams can come back from being down 2-0 in games and both being rather lopsided on the score board.But these guys did just that!Solid goal tending from Sam S. and Sam H. was the key with Sam H. earning the shutout yesterday!A goal by Noah J. got us rolling as he kept his chin up after several in close misses,the type that get most players unravelled.He just kept pushing and pushing and all his hard work payed off!Linemate Nick S. had an outstanding game as well with the other two goals!He was another who got several chances to score but couldn't find the back of the net but he played his guts out all game and was rewarded for his efforts.Will C. was put up on the topline from playing Defence all season and it seems to be a good fit for the top line.He played solid all weekend with big hits,some nice set-ups and strong back checking when needed.He controls the puck well deep in the offensive zone with good patience and vision.Enough cant be said about every player on this team this past weekend.I think it is fair to say that every player out there played to the best of their ability and that was key for the success.Lets keep it going boys!Lets go to Petrolia and put it to em just as we did this past weekend.Very proud of all of you!
