Round TWO!!!!!!!
On Sunday your Mite Green took on the North Middlesex stars for round two of their home and home series.
Once again the kids were ready do roll right out of the gate with some loud cheers and great attitudes!
North Middlesex was a force right off the hop but with our sticks on the ice and hard work we gave them a good run for their money.
Posting Stellar performances in net for your Mite green we had a trio if all stars Riley p, Roman C, and Bryce R. who all made solid stick and skate saves to give us the opportunity we needed to help build a comeback.
Turning back up the ice with fire in their eyes looking to bury the puck in the back of the net were Macy F, Ethan L, Jordan P, Keeva V and Leah M. all had great break away opportunities.
Great neutral zone play by Chase D, Ava, K, Mason B, and Dane V. all managed to get the puck deep into the zone either springing our players on break away's or simply protecting our end of the rink.
Carter S and Jackson H. both played Rock solid in the Defensive Zone Clearing the puck at any chance they had while protecting there goalie from an on-slot of shots from the Stars.
Our Lone goal of the Game came off the Stick of one Lucas G. who manage to pick up the puck on the half board, drive the net and beat the goalie short side. For all of his hard work and determination, Lucas G was rewarded with our player of the game. Keep up the great work.
Next week we travel to Exeter to take on the South Huron Sabers .
