Tyke white plays two on snowy weekend
Lucan tyke white fought the elements this weekend to play two great games.
Saturday morning the tyke travelled to Mount Brydges through some tough weather to take on Mt. Brydges White. The kids came out strong picking up where they left off last week. Brady H., Elliott, Macy, Malory, Lucas, Aiden, Brooke and Andrew have been on fire lately, chasing the puck all over the ice.
Owen M. was tending the net this weekend and was very excited. The opponents were not as excited to see Owen between the pipes case he was making save after save. White forwards had many chances too but just could not get it past the Mt Brydges goalie until Elliott H tore down the ice with defenders all over and buried the first and only goal for Lucan on this day. Elliott would earn the player of the game with his strong play, keep it p Elliott.
Sunday was another early morning for Lucan when they hosted Parkhill. Lucan would get off to a quick start with Macy F. going on a breakaway and beating the Parkhill goalie with a blistering shot. Owen M was in net again and made a bunch of key saves to keep the game close. Parkhill would take the lead about a third of the way through the game. Lucan was fighting to get back in the game but just could not get the bounces. Malory D would be the player of the game. Malory was flying today she made a bunch of great passes and helped clear the puck in our end a number of times. Keep up the momentum Malory!
