Last game of the Year
The tyke white kids were pumped for their final game of the year.

Lucan would be up against the Port Stanley team and this was a great match.  Lucas G. would make tons of saves in the first 10 minutes to keep this a scoreless battle.  Owen M. would get tyke white going with a howitzer of a shot. Port Stanley would respond with 4 unanswered goals but this team has not quit in them.  They scratched and clawed their way back into the game on goals from Owen M. and Macy F.  In the end Lucan would not have enough to catch Port Stanley but played a great game.  Final Score was 5-3.  Player of the game went to Claire B. who played an awesome game and buried a goal that was negated by an untimely buzzer.  Great job Claire!

After the game we held our awards ceremony and enjoyed some pizza.  Thanks for a great year team!

Please find our breakdown on each child year and all the great things they accomplished!

Highlight of the year

Claire has improved immensely this year from the first practice. Claire has the quickest legs on the team and she turns the afterburners on when she is chasing down the puck or the opponents. Favorite Moment of Claire year was watching her chase down the green team’s forwards in the first match against our cross town rivals. Great Year Claire!

Brooke has made a complete transformation from the beginning of the year. Brooke has really took the forward position and can be found patrolling the blue line ready to pounce on the puck and take the puck to the net. Brooke was also an unbelievable goalie. My favorite memory of Brooke's year was when she scored a beauty goal against Port Stanley. Keep it up Brooke!

Owen had an amazing year, in the beginning of the year Owen was a defensive force, shutting the opponents down, half way through the year Owen became a goal scoring threat every time he touched the puck. Owen was also great a passing the puck around and picked up many key assist. But my favorite game for Owen was the goaltending display he put up against Parkhill in our March Break Tourney. He held them to two goals and stood on his head the entire game. You rock Owen!

Malory may be quiet in the dressing room, but when we gets on ice she is all business. Malory can be called on to play any position. She was a great goalie for us, plays a mean defense and can carry the offensive load when playing forward. My Favorite memory of Malory's year was when she scored her first goal ever against Strathroy Blue. Great year Malory

Elliott was the main player when trying to get the team pumped up, he would often be seen doing a loop by the bench to instruct his teammates to cheer loader. Elliott was a defensive stalwart but near the end of the year got an itch for forward and scored a couple beauties. My favorite game for Elliott was the first game of the season, starting the season off with a bang registering two goals. Great job Elliott

Macy had a great year for Tyke white. Macy started out in a more offensive role and then took to defense and by the end of the year could be found scoring a key goal or chasing down the opponents before they get to our goalie. My favorite moment of Macy's year was the last game against team Green, chasing down the Green forwards before they could get a shot on her Blond twin Malory. Awesome job Macy!

One thing you know with Madilyn is she will always be smiling on the bench. Madilyn really improved this year. She became more and more aggressive as the year progressed. My favorite moment of Madilyn's year was the game against Exeter in the first game of the year netting a huge goal in our first win of the year. She also plays a mean goalie, securing the win against the Belmont team.

Brady has had a great year for us. Brady has taken to defense and we can count on him to shut the other team down. Brady is a quiet but wields a big stick .My Favorite memory of the year was how well he played for us in the Parkhill Tournament. He has come so far this year..great job Brady.

Lucas can do it all. He was an offensive force for tyke white this year but could also play a great defensive game. Lucas also loves playing net and has played great between the pipes. My favorite moment for Lucas this year was our first game against Port Stanley, Lucas played his best game of the year and scored a hat trick. Awesome work Lucas!

Andrew has turned into a great little hockey player. Andrew has played 6 games in net for us and has been spectacular. When playing out Andrew has a set of wheels and has had many great chances this year. My favorite moment for Andrew this year is his hat trick he scored against Belmont. Great job Andrew

Aiden is a man of few words but he is one heck of a hockey player. Aiden became a shutdown defenseman for the Tyke White squad, at the same time Aiden's got lots of offensive punch. Aiden best moment on the year was getting us going in the Parkhill tournament with a beauty goal against Parkhill
