Mite Green travels for a road game in Thamesford
Saturday afternoon we travelled to Thamesford for what turned out to be a road game victory
Game time was at 2:20pm on Saturday January 14th against the Thamesford Mite squad. Lucan had the full roster make the trip and everyone was ready for the drop of the puck.
We took an early lead and never lost it! Although Thamesford did find their scoring touch after the midway point of the game to bring the score a little closer.
All of our players skated well and were eager for the puck, we had several players that had opportunities to score their first goal.
Austin C was one of those skaters and he had a couple of breakaways that were near misses at being on the scoreboard. For all of his efforts he was awarded the Mite Green "Hardest Worker" of the game. Congratulations Austin!
The final score was 12-6 for Lucan.
Our next match is this Saturday at 9am in Huron Park versus Exeter.
