Lucan White travel to Huron Park
February 4th Lucan White travelled to Huron Park to take on the South Huron Sabres
The kids continued their strong play, coming up against a very good South Huron team. Lucan and South Huron trades chances back and forth all game. South Huron was up 2-0 fifteen minutes into the game but Lucan continued to have great chances, with the South Huron goalie making great saves or Lucan just missing the net. Carlee V. scored with five minutes left in the game and Lucan kept pushing for the equalizer . Lucan pulled the goalie with 1 minute remaining but could not beat the South Huron goalie even with the extra attacker. It was another great game for the tykes. Final score was 2-1. Carlee V. scored the only goal and it was unassisted. Ethan P. played net for the tykes and came up with an number of key saves to keep his team in the game. Player of the game went to Paisley W. how made the transition from defense to forward and had many great chances in front of the net.
