Atom Girls Rep, U11, 2011-2012 (Lucan Minor Hockey)

At the Walter Gretzky tournament in Brantford this past weekend, our girls showed why they truly are the 'little team that could' winning their second tournament as a BB team and their fifth tournament of the year! Congratulations Girls! 

Going into the International Silverstick Tournament this weekend, our girls were clearly the underdogs.  Our competition was at or near the top of their respective leagues and we had struggled to tie some of our B competitors over the past few weeks.  Our  only BB experience had come in an exhibition loss to Ancaster. The girls faced a real challenge!

On Saturday, January 21st, the girls played one of the strongest games of the year against a much improved St. Marys squad winning in convincing style, 5-0.
