Lucan take on South Huron Red
On a snowy Saturday Lucan travelled to Huron Park to take On SH Red
This was a goaltenders duo from the start to finish. Lucan and South Huron traded shots only to have the goaltenders steal the show. It was tied 0-0 after the first period and most of the second before Lucan got on the board on a goal from Dylan F. with assist going to Aiden M.. This game was again an entire team effort to keep SH off the board. Defense (Carson, Aiden, Joel and James) worked hard to stop the SH advances and keep the SH forwards to the outside. Then there was Bobby M. who was absolutely on fire stopping each and every shot that came his way. He was unbelievable and called upon often to stop the SH forwards. Up front we had a complete game from all. The line of Ben F., Carter H., and Carter L. did a great job of getting the puck out of our end and coming back to help out the defense and goalie. Dylan F., Tyler F. and Gordon L. had many point blank shots but just could not get it past the strong SH goalie. This was a very close and exciting game with our boys coming out with a 1-0 victory. Player of the game was Bobby M. who looked like a combination of James Reimer and Jonathan Bernier between the pipes. You kids are amazing, keep up the great team play!!!!
