Tyke White versus Lambton Shores Black
Saturday December 1st Lucan hosted Lambton Shores Black.
Yet another action packed game for Tyke White. Both teams were evenly matched and traded chances all game. Lucan scored first with Lauren D. getting her first goal of the year. Lambton Shore responded quickly to tie it up. The game was tied 2-2, 3-3, and 4-4 before Lambton Shores took a 7-5 lead with 10 minutes to play. The Lucan squad fought hard and came within one when Luke A. scored with 5 minutes remaining. Carson V. played outstanding in net keeping his team in the game with a number of key saves. Lucan kept fighting for the equalizer but Lambton Shores goalie stoned them in the final 5 minutes. The game ended 7-6 for Lambton Shores. Goals went to Luke A.(4), Lauren D., and Bobby M.. Assist went to James V. Hardest worker of the game went to Luke A. who demonstrated strong play in both ends of the rink. Team should be very proud of their play, they are getting stronger every game...keep up the good work Tyke White. Lucan plays two games next week, Saturday in Lucan and Sunday back in Lambton Shores
