White vs Gold
Lucan White hosted Lucan Gold Saturday and a very tightly contested battle.
White got out to a quick start and took the early lead 2-0 lead. Both teams were really battling for the puck all over the ice. Defence played a key role in the game. Carson V. Lane H., Bobby M., Lauren D. and Kiera P. all played the point and work to keep the players from Gold from good scoring chances. Luke A. played spectacular in goal for the White team, making save after save and allowing White to stay in the game. Gold tied the score at two and then the two teams traded goals to make the score 3-3. Gold scored a late goal to make it 4-3. White gave its all to score the equalizer but the game ended with a 4-3 loss. Player of the game went to Carson V. who was stellar on defence, great work Carson. Goals went to Dylan F.(3), with assists going to Mackenzie H(2), Carson V. and Lane H. Lucan is up against South Huron next week.
