Lucan White take on North Middlesex Jr. Stars
Saturday Lucan travelled to Parkhil to play the North Middlesex Jr. Stars
Lucan was playing short staffed and need all the players to step up. The kids took this challenge and played another great game. It was a scoreless game for the first 10 minutes until the Stars were able to sneak one by Cohen S. Lucan quickly responded with a goal by Dylan F. on a nice pass from Bobby M. The Stars took the lead once more at 27:21 but again Lucan responded to tie it at two on a goal from Dylan F., with assist going to Tom O.. Cadence H. made it 3-2 on a nice pass from her sister Mackenzie H.. With 4:50 North Middlesex tied the game at three. The fans were on the edge of their seat the rest of the game and with 1:00 left to play Dylan F. scored what turned out to be the game winner on another great pass from Bobby M.. Great work team! Cohen S. , who was down and out yesterday with the flu, played unbelievable between the pipes making a bunch of key saves. The defensive trio of Bobby M., Carson V. and Lane H. constantly stopped the Stars forwards and made many great passes up to our forwards. Wingers Mackenzie H., Tom O., James V. and Gracie B. were buzzing all of the ice and were fighting for the rebounds infront of the Stars net, keep up the good work kids. Centers Cadence H. and Dylan F. were helping in both ends of the rink, scoring goals and setting up their teammates! Another great team effort kids. Player of the game went to Dylan F.. Lucan has a busy week next week playing in a tournament Saturday in Glencoe and the travelling to Lambton Shore on SuperBowl Sunday.
