A high-scoring tie
Lucan's Tyke Gold team came from behind to tie the Lambton Shores Predators 10-10.
Ryder O. scored with about 20 seconds to go in the game on a breakaway to bring the two teams even once again.
The lead had bounced back and forth between the two teams for the entire game.
Ryder O. 's tying goal gave him a hat trick.
Grace C. made her goaltending debut in the Lucan net and stood strong facing the Lambton Shores players, including taking a shot off the helmet by the visiting team's strongest player, who contributed five goals to the Lambton Shores total.
Katie D. continued her strong offensive play, scoring another three goals in this game. She also used her strong skating to catch some Lambton Shores players on breakaways.
The Lucan players went to the front of the opposing team's net better during this game and managed to scoop in a couple of goals by continuing to bang away at the puck.
Kaiden W. scored one such goal, after Aiden M. had carried the puck down the ice and to the Lambton Shores net.
Ben F. started the scoring to Lucan, followed closely afterwards by a goal by Tyler L.
Sadie L. also scored a goal to round out the scoring for Lucan.
