October 12, 2013 – Lucan AE vs. Dorchester
The Lucan Atom AE team had a lot to be
thankful for this weekend as they geared themselves up to battle the
Dorchester Dragons...a great offensive crew who were able to dig for
the puck while relying on each other to successfully rush the
offensive zone making shot after shot on net...a great defensive
squad whose speed and great stick handling allowed Lucan AE to easily
snatch the puck from their opponent and clear it from their
zone...and last but not least a great pair of goalies whose talents
continue to awe the crowd!
Dorchester certainly pushed the Lucan Atom AE team to play their very best but no one could predict some unfortunate penalties and a couple of shining stars on the opponents team. The important thing to remember folks is that this team continues to show up every week with their game face on and are committed to doing their very best. I don't think anyone would disagree with coach Shane who stated “what a great group of kids who have shown some incredible improvements so far this year”!
