The boys in green are so close to a win they can taste it!
Over the last week, Lucan AE has challenged St. Marys and Mt. Brydges having a great start to both games. Lucan has picked up their speed and are starting to use what they have learned to force their opponent away from their net and out of their zone.
Teamwork is the name of the game and Lucan AE certainly realizes that it takes the support of a team to earn success! There has been some significant improvement in their positioning and passing over the last few games and our opponent’s goalies are staying busy as the boys continue fire shot after shot on their nets.
Let’s not forget Lucan AE’s goalies…whom seem to be on loan from the NHL…who have made some fantastic “head shot” and butterfly saves to date…WOW!
I predict that if the Lucan AE team continues to put forth this kind of effort…a well-deserved win is in their future!
