Tyke B: Green, 2015-2016 (Lucan Minor Hockey)

What a season!.. We played our final league game of the season on sunday against Mt.Brydges Red.. This team had taken it to us earlier in the season but sunday was a different story.. Though we still weren't able to pull out the "W" we had them on their heels plenty and held them in the neutral zone for much of the game.. Another action packed weekend for our green warriors is in the books!.. Saturday was a fantastic tilt against Belmont.. Despite having a short bench we held a 1-0 lead to the half way point of the game on a great goal by Chase Bilcke.. While Lucie Smith-Rowley was rock solid in net stopping multiple shots!.. Chase Bilcke's strong play earned him our puck hungry player of the game!.. Sunday was another great effort against Tyke white.. What a game!.. For those in attendance it was by far the most entertaining match we've had this season.. Logan Parsons made save after save for us while Chase Bilcke, Jackson Hardy and Mackenzie Smith all tallied goals.. Jackson Hardy gave a fantastic effort all game long and worked hard at both ends of the ice, which earned him our "puck hungry" player of the game award.. Thank to Tyke White for a great match up.. Your Tyke Green soldiers took to the ice on sat vs parkhill and put up a solid effort.. We drove the play deep into parkhills end many times and put their goalie under pressure.. In the end it was the play of our goalie Lucie Smith-Rowley that kept us in this game so she was named our "Puck Hungry" player of the game for Sat!.. A snowy drive to the barn in Mt.Brydges was well worth the effort to watch our team come together and play a very solid game at both ends.. Lots of puck support and hard skating made for one of the best games of the season for our group.. Green jersey's swarmed the mt.brydges net during multiple attacks and Jackson Hardy was able to jam in a great goal for us!.. Logan Parsons was ever steady in our net while Aaden Campbell earned our "puck hungry" player of the game award for his consistent effort on offence and defense.. Great job green!!
