Hi All!.. Sunday started with a reminder from old man winter that he's back from summer vacation and ready to go.. And so were your Tyke Green Lucan Irish!.. They faced a talented and well seasoned team from Zurich and did themselves proud..
Our players worked hard all game long defending our net and making every effort to generate some offence. The attitude on the bench stayed positive and everyone was smiling and fist bumping after every hard fought shift.. Our own Sophia Soares played an outstanding game in net for us. She faced a lot of shots and never once backed down!.. For her efforts on sunday, Sophia was named our player of the game!.. Thanks again to our friends from Zurich for making the trip to Lucan!..
