Ilderton...we meet again!
What a fun game! The players from both teams were truly out on the ice having a great time and really giving it their best effort.
Spencer started the scoring off with his first goal of the season, in turn, earning the game puck. Drew also scored his first goal this season - awesome stick handling!! Lucas' stick was on fire again this game, he found the net 4 times!! Jack, Will and Megan, were also able to sneak a puck past the goalie. All these scores did have a little help from some team mates. Lachlan found himself assisting a couple, as did Jackson and Gracie. While there are certainly some strong players on our team when it comes to scoring, you cannot overlook the amazing growth our other players are showing. Collin had some great puck stops at centre ice and you would often see Zane in there digging for the puck. For this game, Lachlan kept his spirits high, he was fit pumping his team mates, helping clear the puck and happy to be assisitng his team mates. For this positive attitude, he received the Super Sport of the game - great to see the team player in you!
This game against Ilderton was just the boost we needed...well played Green!!
