January 12, 2013 – Lambeth Lancers vs. Lucan White (Exhibition)
Lucan White was thrilled to have the
opportunity to re-challenge the Lambeth Lancers to an exhibition
game. Regardless of their back-to back games today, Lucan White was
energized this afternoon outplaying the Lancers and controlling much
of the play in the first and second period.
The team was still confident moving into the third period; however, an unfortunate penalty made them loose their groove which opened up an opportunity for the Lancers to sink a goal and build some momentum. With a potential loss in sight, Lucan White fought back bringing the final score to 5-5 with a couple of minutes left in the game. Today’s victory was a result of the valiant effort put forth by all team members. Nick D. skated hard today aggressively attacking the puck earning him the title of game MVP. A shout out to our rookie goalie Sam R. who put on an awesome display today! Hooray for Lucan White!
