Road Trip To East Lambton
Today we travelled to Alvinston to have our fist regular season game against East Lambton.
With spirits running high and Loud coming out of the dressing room tyke green was ready to take on East Lambton in what was sure to be an outstanding game.
The first period was a seesaw affair with offensive rushes between both teams. Our Goalie Christian F. was a rock in net stopping multiple chances allowing us to keep the game in check. The phrase of the day should have been back-check, our team again was a dominat force in putting on the defensive pressure.
In the second period we had a bunch of break away chances some of which were lead by Spenser R., Cohen S. and Lane H. but would all be stopped by the opposing teams goalie. Our lone goal today came off the stick of Nate V. with a no quit attitude he managed to pocket his first (unassisted) goal on his third rebound opportunity.
At the start of the third the Frame Kyle V., Cash M., Colin W, Drew K. and Ethan H also all had scoring opportunities but were turned away at the goal line. All of these chances could not have been possible had it not been for the fierce face off wins by Josselyn V. and Clair W.
For all of his hard work forechecking, back checking and break away rushes Presley B. was rewarded with our player of the game Great Job!!
At the end of the game the score sheet was not in our favour, but we played an outstanding 2 way game again!!
Our next game is Next Saturday at Home
