Sunday morning in Strathroy.
After all the Hype from there Friday Game your tyke green took to the Roads to Challenge Strathroy Rockets Blue at home

Ready to put the pads back on was Nate V. who was keen to get back to on ice action.  Nate was ready to go and keen to show the Rockets what he was made of. On their first rush of the game he pounced on the puck making his first of multiple saves that would allow us to keep pace.

On Saturday at practice we worked on using the boards and it appeared that what we were working of is starting to sink in.  The first goal of the game came off the stick of Cohen S. who was sprung up  the ice with some good work down low from Christian F. and a pass off the boards from Lane H.

We would soon find our selves down by a goal and we would once again turn to our Face off Specialists Claire W. Presley B and Owen C. to get things rolling again.   Quick of the draw we saw Kyle V. receive a pass from Josselyn V. who managed to get Cohen S. rolling down the ice who Pocketed his second of the game, He would go on to add another goal for 3 on the day.

Your next goal came off the stick of Colin W. who worked hard in front of the net and never gave up on the play and managed to jam the puck across the goal line.

We also saw great work in the defensive zone by Cash M. and Ethan H. who worked hard and managed to get the puck out to send in Josselyn V. who was robbed of a goal when she was in the offensive zone lone ranger rush.

Drew K. who managed to pocket a goal today short side rewarding him for all his recent offensive pressure that he has be providing.  Assists on the play went to Spencer R. who would later go on to add another point for a 2 point day.

Once again with some great work along the boards the puck managed to squeeze out along the boards and coupled with some outstanding staking by Lane H. he was able to pull away from the Rockets Defence which  allowed hime to find the back of the net.

With time winding down the Rockets managed to score to quick ones which had our game end in a Tie

Your Tyke Green is working hard and appear up to the task of anything that is thrown their way.

Next Week your Tyke Green are in Park Hill for the North Middlesex LM tournament come on out and cheer on your team

GO GREEN GO!
