Cougars in Lucan
Wow! What a way to head into Christmas break. The Mount Brydges Cougars Gold
squad braved the fog to come to Lucan and face off against us.
The call in net for this game was given to Zane W. and with his calm demeanour and intense focus, it wasn't hard to see that the players were pumped to play for him. Jackson D. was especially pumped and with his scouting reports all studied, he knew that letting a hard and low wrist shot from the slot was unstoppable. As the play entered the Mt. Brydges zone Jackson set up his office in the slot and he didn't disappoint as he blasted a shot into the back of the net for his first of the year. The crowd and bench went wild!!! With a 1 - 0 lead, Lucan knew they had to build on it. On a rush into the Mt Brydges zone, Megan F. let all her practice pay off as she raced towards the front of the net to score her first goal of the year! Again, the crowd went crazy! Lucas H. made sure that the team fans lost whatever was left of their voices as he buried two for himself in this game to help guide our team to an impressive victory. For his outstanding efforts, Lucas was our Super Sport of the game and Jackson was given our special game puck for his hard work. It was a great game by our team and a nice way to head into Christmas holidays.
